Our company offers excellent quality products from ɑdvansta ® (U.S.A, CA), designed for a wide range of experts, to identify proteins using Western blot. Narrow specialization of the producer in Western blotting allowed to develop and refine most reagents and materials, as well as to achieve best value. Thus, the company ɑdvansta ® is now a serious competitor to such manufacturers as GE Healthcare, Thermo Scientific, Millipore.
Quantitative chemiluminescent Western blotting
WesternBright Quantum HRP substrate
WesternBright Quantum is formulated to take full advantage of the linear dynamic range of CCD imagers. It provides high sensitivity to detect low abundance proteins, and does not exhibit substrate depletion with high abundance proteins, so has a larger linear dynamic range than other commercially available substrates. A signal linear with respect to protein concentration over 3 orders of magnitude provides the ability to accurately quantify and compare protein amounts in your samples. Features • Sensitive – detect attomoles of protein per band. • Quantitative – linear range of signal with respect to protein amount exceeds 3 orders of magnitude • Low background – for high signal to noise • Long lasting signal – image blots hours after substrate incubation • Versatile – Optimized for CCD imaging, and compatible with film detection
WesternBright ECL HRP substrate
The best choice for routine, film-imaged Western blots WesternBright ECL is more sensitive than other chemiluminescent substrates, so you can conduct shorter exposures, load less sample, or use up to ten-times less antibody. Save time and money with WesternBright ECL. Features • Stronger signal than Amersham™ ECL or Pierce™ ECL • Detect low pg protein amounts • Use up to ten-times less antibody
WesternBright ECL is a horseradish peroxidase substrate optimized for chemiluminescent Western blots imaged using X-ray film. WesternBright ECL requires as little as ten times less antibody than other substrates, allowing you to save precious antibodies and samples. Additionally, the WesternBright ECL signal is long lasting, allowing multiple exposures to be carried out without substantial signal decay. WesternBright ECL detects equal amounts of protein with up to ten times less antibody. Duplicate slot blots containing serial dilutions of transferrin were probed with the antibody dilutions shown, and detected with either WesternBright ECL or Pierce ECL (Thermo Scientific) according to the manufacturers’ instructions. The blots were imaged simultaneously on the same piece of film. WesternBright ECL produced the same signal with ten times less primary and five times less secondary antibody.
WesternBright Sirius HRP substrate
WesternBright Sirius is the most sensitive chemiluminescent substrate available for Western blotting. Its extremely strong signal allows detection of bands unseen with other substrates. Features • The most sensitive of Advansta's HRP substrates • Quantitative signal • Also emits chemifluorescence for detection using fluorescence imagers
Multicolor fluorescent Western blotting
WesternBright MCF kit for multicolor fluorescent Western blotting
Detect two proteins on one blot using multicolor fluorescence, and gain more information from every experiment. With WesternBright MCF, you can assay a control alongside your protein of interest, or phosphorylated and unphosphorylated isoforms simultaneously. The WesternBright MCF fluorophores outperform Cy™ dyes, for high sensitivity and the ability to detect low pg amounts of protein. The kit contains all the materials needed to carry out 10 two-color fluorescent blots. Features • Fluorescent detection of two proteins, with sensitivity 10x greater than Cy dyes
• AdvanBlock™ blocking solution for fast, protein-free blocking and greater signal-to-noise ratios • High sensitivity – detect picograms of protein • Fast results – entire protocol can be completed in 3.5 hours • Compatible with imaging systems that detect Cy3 and Cy5 or similar dyes
